The PGPUSERS List is the longest running list for the worldwide community of PGP, GnuPG and OpenPGP crypto users. Posting volume is moderate to high. While specific posts are not moderated, volunteer CoAdmins read the list and occasionally reinforce the intentionally liberal List Charter particularly with regard to staying on topic. Everyone is on the honor system to start with, and is expected to adhere to principles of good netiquette or become individually moderated. This is generally reflected in the high quality of the discussion threads, both technical and nontechnical. Most questions about OpenPGP and PGP can be answered by subscribing and then searching the archives andor asking the list.
